We will offer the following real property at auction, with the auction to be held at the land which is located from the Plankinton Exit #308 on I-90 – approx. ¼ mile north to Plankinton, SD to the Old Hwy. #16 Junction, approx. 3 miles west on Old Hwy. #16 (253rd St.) and 3 miles north on 383rd Ave. to the NE Corner of the land at the Jct. of 383rd Ave and 250th St.

This parcel of land will be sold based on the surveyed acres and will consist of a portion of the quarter section comprised of +/-147.60 acres which essentially is all of the tillable acres on the farm, with the owner retaining +/-14 acres of hunting and wildlife production area situated in the northwest corner of the quarter. The purchaser will receive full possession of this land to either operate or lease as they desire in 2022. This auction provides the opportunity to purchase a productive high percentage tillable parcel of Plankinton Township Aurora County SD land. Presently according to FSA information this farm in its entirety as a 160 acre parcel has approx. 143.57 acres of total cropland with a 67.45 acre corn base with a 98 bu. PLC yield and a 63.75 acre soybean base with a 30 bu. yield (these acres and bases may vary slightly subsequent to the survey and an FSA reconstitution on this parcel of land); currently this farm is enrolled under the ARC County Election of the USDA Farm Program for corn & soybeans. Assessor this farm as a 160 acre parcel has approx. an overall soil rating of .609; comparatively information obtained from Surety Agri-Data, Inc. indicates that the portion of this quarter being sold (+/-147.60) acres has a productivity index of 53.1. The general topography of this land is level to gently rolling. The 2021 RE taxes payable in 2022 on the quarter in its entirety are $1,685.02.
