In 1991 at the urging of longtime associate Mr. Vernell Johnson, Chuck expanded his auction operation and assumed the Sioux Falls location located at 1116 N. West Ave. in Sioux Falls, SD (located just east of the Sioux Falls Arena). This second location operates under the trade name of Chuck Sutton Auctioneer and Land Broker, LLC.

It was under the tutelage of both Vernell Johnson and Chuck’s Grandfather, Anton Kuhle, that Chuck gained much of his knowledge and expertise in the auction industry. This training began when he sold his first item at auction at the age of 9 and continued part time throughout his school years. Upon his graduation from college in 1979, Chuck entered the auction and real estate business full time. Throughout his career he has sold thousands of auctions of all types. He continues to sell Land, Acreages, Homes, Commercial & Development Property & other types of Real Estate, as well as Personal Property Auctions including Farm Equipment, Business Liquidation’s, Antique, Household & other types of Personal Property Auctions.

When it comes to auctions - experience counts, especially since many auctions deal with the sale of the clients lifetime assets. Chuck’s experience is unequaled as his auction company has handled many auctions of great magnitude such as Real Estate auctions which have resulted in mult-million dollar events as well as numerous other land, acreages, commercial and developmental properties and thousands of real estate auctions of all types - large and small. In addition Chuck has sold thousands of personal property auctions including farm machinery, business liquidations, tools & specialty items, antiques, guns, furniture & virtually all types of personal property. Chuck believes irregardless of the size of an auction all clients deserve the finest services which his firm has to offer. Chuck is currently a licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. Chuck Sutton is recognized as a leader in the auction profession proven by the fact the he conducts 175 to 200 auctions annually.
