When originally
purchased by the sellers they had considered building a home on one of the
scenic locations on this property and had planned to utilize the land in
connection with their cow-calf operation, although due to an attractive
employment opportunity in Nebraska, the owners have decided to relocate,
thus they have decided to offer this property for sale at public auction.
This auction consist of a total of approx. 86.25 acres according to Lake
County tax records and actually lies in 2 non-contiguous parcels of land -
the largest parcel estimated to contain a total of approx. 65 acres which
includes all of the land considered to be cropland in the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4
and the second parcel consists of approx. 21.25 estimated acres that is a
narrow strip of land running north and south along 448th Ave., approx. 1/2
mile north from the Jct. of 448th Ave. & 243rd. St.; of which the
approx. two-thirds could be considered tillable with the balance in
